How to Set Up an Amazon Wish List

Amazon Wish List

The kids are in college now and both of them stacked their classes really tight back to back. With no real time for a full meal at lunch, they choose to snack as they are walking in between classes.

They can go out and buy stuff on their own but receiving a package in the mail is way more fun!

Don’t you remember when you were in college and you got that box in the mail at the student union? The excitement was too much and you couldn’t wait to get to your room to open it up to see what goodies were inside? It didn’t matter what was in the box as long as it was from home and something was in it. Am I right?

Give your kids the same thrill with sending them the things they want.

Send them a care package! It’s easy for the kids to create an Amazon wish list for our family members to view and send the items to the kids. It can be anything from that new video game, a new backpack, that fuzzy warm sweater, or some snacks to keep their brains fueled during the day.

Also, anyone can use the Amazon Wishlist for any occasion as it’s not limited to only students!

It’s really easy to create a wish list – log into your Amazon account and tell who the list is for and name it. (It’s okay to have more than one!)

The Amazon wish list creator can search through Amazon to find all the items they want and easily add to their wish list for others to see. It’s a wish list so tell the kids to load it up!

Once it’s created you can pick and choose the items that you want to send them.

Below are a few of the items that are my kids’ favorites that they will be receiving from their wish list:

  • Slim Jim: Accept no imposters! Slim Jim is the original meat stick. When you need a snack that’s as bold as you are, Snap Into a Slim Jim!
  • Swiss Miss: Winter is coming up and nothing brings warmth on a cold day like a cup of Swiss Miss hot cocoa. Their hot cocoa mix is made with fresh milk from local farms and blended with premium blended cocoa with five simple ingredients with no artificial flavors or preservatives.
  • DAVIDS: Grab a bag of DAVID seeds. DAVID seeds have great flavors you’ll love–grab a bag of original or try something new like Ranch, BBQ, Jalapeno Hot Salsa or Dill Pickle
  • Orville: Pop a bag for any time of the day and enjoy light, fluffy, delicious. Orville Redenbacher’s is the perfect treat for any time. Looking for a new snack that is low on calories but big on taste? Try their skinny varieties too!

Have you used the new Amazon wishlist yet? Try it!

What a fun way to sit with the kids and find out what they want for the upcoming holidays.

Not sure what to buy for a teacher’s gift? Tell them about the Amazon wishlist and share with other parents.

What other creative ways can the Amazon wish list be used?
