Balsamic Glaze Recipe
We all raise our kids to be mini-me’s… right?
Well, we have done just that as our kids have a love for a balsamic glaze on several food items. {Although Spencer hates the smell of the house when we make it.} When we dine out Alex will ask for an extra balsamic glaze, especially when eating mozzarella cheese.
Don’t be intimated to try your hand at this as it isn’t hard, you just need to babysit the pot to ensure it doesn’t burn.
A balsamic glaze is must-have to drizzle over cheeses, fresh and cooked vegetable and more! You can even use it on fruits to make ordinary into extraordinary. Grilled peaches are amazing with it BTW!

Carefully watch your mixture until it starts boiling and then turn the heat down to low and let it simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
You can remove it before then if you don’t want it as thick but most people wait until the mixture has been reduced by half.
Oh look at that liquid black gold! We keep ours in the bowl above {it has a lid for it} and keep in the fridge until we need it.
