Broadacres Swap Meet
The Broadacres Swap Meet aka Broadacres Market offers everything you would have if you were at a flea market in Mexico… lots of vendor booths, authentic Mexican food, and live music!
If you haven’t visited the Broadacres Swap Meet then you should do it at least once. I went with the goal of buying a cowboy hat and came how with two different ones!
Be sure to take cash as most vendors, including food, do not accept credit or debit cards.
What is a Flea Market?
Flea markets are indoor or outdoor markets where multiple vendors sell new and used goods within a designated space called booths or stalls.
What is a Swap Meet?
“Technically,” a swap meet is a gathering of people to swap used merchandise. Today, however, most “swap meet” goods are sold instead of traded and the term is used interchangeably with the term flea market.

A wagon or rolling cart is a must if you plan on buying anything, especially in the summer when it’s hot and you don’t want to lug your treasures around the swap meet. Or, if you have small kids it may be a good idea to bring one that has a shaded cover.
Along with the live music for entertainment, you will also find donkey rides (I think they were donkeys) and carnival type rides as seen above.
