Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake
Like most cruisers, I fell in love with the Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake on my first cruise. Our 2014 Thanksgiving cruise we were reunited and I enjoyed it every night but one at dinner (the night I ordered the Grand Marnier Souffle instead).
I have made it a few times since and then forgot about it. When I am a few months out from my next cruise I start jonesing for one and whip out the ingredients to make a few. (I know right, eating a lot of cake before jumping on a cruise ship and wearing a swimsuit…)
There are so many recipes for the Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake and I have baked them all until Carnival finally published the recipe. YEA, break out the stretchy pants!
It’s actually easy to make and best served with vanilla ice cream on top. Or, you can add powdered sugar and chocolate shavings.
Most folks like theirs a bit runnier than others but I don’t like the pudding consistency and ask them to bake mine a bit longer.
Below is the recipe from the Carnival Cruise site for their famous Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake… enjoy!
