Cedar Canyon Campground Overview
Cedar Canyon Campground has 1 group campsite, 5 double campsites, and 13 single websites.
There are not too many campgrounds that I would not camp at again, and unfortunately, the Cedar Canyon Campground is one that I will not go back to.
When we arrived we were very excited about our heavily treed lot with Crow Creek flowing alongside the campground.
We set up our tent and started unpacking the Jeep.
Ahhh… now time to relax. Then we heard it. The non-stop traffic from the road that runs parallel to the Cedar Canyon Campground. And… it… never… stops.
Next time, we will use dispersed camping and avoid the noise.
Cedar Canyon Campground Fees
The current fees are $17 per single campsite and $34 per double campsite per night. The group fee is $55 per night.
You can reserve your spot online or try your luck as a walk-in. If you do a walk-in, I recommend someone stay behind once you find a spot that hasn’t been reserved while someone else goes to the self-pay station and grabs your ticket for the campground rental stand that is at each campsite.
Cedar Canyon Campground Location
Cedar Canyon Campground is located conveniently close to Cedar City, Utah, only 11 miles east. Visitors enjoy hiking, biking and day-tripping to nearby Cedar Breaks National Monument.
Cedar Canyon is close to many areas with excellent recreational opportunities. Navajo Lake and Duck Lake are both within 25 minutes, offering boating, canoeing, and fishing. The Duck Creek/Markagunt ATV Trail System begins nearby.
From Cedar City, Utah, take Highway 14 east for 11 miles. The campground is located just below the S turn on your left.

Cedar Canyon Campground Amenities
The campground offers one group site and several family sites. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided but no showers are available. Roads and spurs are paved.
