Deep Fried Green Beans

Deep Fried Green Beans

Deep Fried Green Beans

This deep friend green bean recipe uses several of my FAVORITE ingredients such as panko bread crumbs, chipotle and Tony Chachere’s seasoning. I don’t like green beans and never really have but this is the only way that I will eat them {if you could hear me talking you could hear the deep south in my voice as I talk about this yummy fried dish!}

Deep Fried Green BeansFor this dish I pick through my green beans to find the ones that are long and straight as they are easier to work with during the batter and frying process. Plus… they look better when you serve them if they are nice and straight {sorry, a little OCD peeking out there}.
Deep Fried Green BeansTo make the process easier I create a procession line with my bowl of milk and eggs beside a plate of my breading {and my cast iron skillet to the left}. This way I can coat, dip and fry with ease and I keep my mess concentrated to one area.
Deep Fried Green BeansI prefer to use my long tongs with a silicon end to pull the deep fried green beans out when they are perfectly browned.

What is your favorite way to eat green beans? This is the only way I can eat them… deep fried baby!
