Krazy Buffet Las Vegas | 4 Reasons Why We Will Return

Despite the cold and rainy weather, we headed out the Snow Jam expo held at the Cashman Center. After three hours of poking around the sales, getting our free lift tickets, and listening to demos my family was hungry. I was wanting some Pho since we were so close to Spring Mountain Road where all the awesome restaurants are located but I was outvoted and we went to Krazy Buffet on Sahara Avenue.

First, my apologies for the photos as I used my phone during our lunch instead of my big camera.

Now, the reasons I will add Krazy Buffet to my list of Chinese buffets to visit in Las Vegas.

#1 Hot and Sour Soup: It’s the little things that will make me want to return to a restaurant and this was the winner for me. When we lived in Turkey I learned to love hot and sour soup and our restaurant made it clear. When we returned to the US 9 out of 10 times I will find restaurants that serve a darker broth that doesn’t have the flavor I am looking for. They nailed it. Talk about take me back 20 years in time… this soup did just that! Look at all those mushrooms!

#2 They serve Pepsi: As I stated above… it’s the little things. I pick my restaurants based on the soda they serve. Seriously I do. Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Target Cafe and others will take priority over other quick meal restaurants. I don’t drink Pepsi at home and when I do go out to eat, I target restaurants based on beverages served.

#3 The price: Since it was lunch we paid less than $9 per person, not too bad for a Saturday lunch. Each family member had some part of their cravings fulfilled and we didn’t break the bank.

#4 Vegetarian sushi: We don’t eat a lot of sushi since I am allergic to seafood and the kids and Bob do not eat seafood. But, Bob enjoy various rolls when he can find them and over 1/3 of their bar were unique vegetarian varieties. Bob was very happy and went back at least twice.

For a quick lunch it was perfect for us. If we find ourselves craving a Chinese buffet while down near the Sahara area, Krazy Buffet will be one that we will add to the top of our list.
