Sorento Review
If you read my Kia Sportage Review, you will know what my family situation is for cars. Basically the bad math is 2 cars x 4 drivers = frustration.
While trying to decide what to do for a third car for the family we are doing a lot of research to make sure we make a smart decision.
After testing the Kia Sportage I thought we might have found the ideal third car for our family but I was wrong! I think it might be the Kia Sorento!
We were fortunate enough to review the 2014 model and WOWEE what a ride!
I took it for a spin during one of my real estate outings and asked the client for feedback and everything was positive!
- The wife was sitting in the front seat and said she just bought a “foreign SUV” and that the ride and comfort of the seats was better than her new car
- The navigation system was easy to use and we were able to find almost every home without getting lost {yea me!}
- She loved the notification on the side mirror to help with blind spots and so did I {I think every car should have this awesome feature!}
- Her teenage daughter said she felt she had plenty of room in the backseat and that the ride was comfortable
Then, the family took it out several times for a test… one day it included our pups and both dogs fit in the back!
- The cargo area was plenty big as I was able to fit our 100 lb Chow / Lab and our 140 lb Tibetan Mastiff in the back.
- The backseat seemed smaller for my 6’1″ son over the Sportage.
- If you think the ride of the Sportage was great – the Sorento is a DREAM!
- Incredible stereo / sound system
- Heated seats for those of you who live in a colder climate and air cooled for those who live in warmer climates like me
- The V6 engine will get up and go and then it’s GONE {yea baby – for people lime me who want a “little power” on the highway}
Below is Alex signing her praises – LOL
Bottom line for me — all decked to the nines, this car is a great bargain for a long term car and you will not be disappointed. And with all the options the price is still great coming in around $26,000. Unfortunately my son couldn’t drive the car to see if he liked it but I am thinking now of buying the Kia Sorento for the family! Bob really liked all the features, the power, under the hood and of course the price.

So, remember that real estate client I took out {see above}, she was back in town and said she was so impressed with the Kia Sorento that when they move to Vegas they are probably buying one for their daughter!
