My Trip With Mexican Coke
My daughter and a few friends are Mexican Coke addicts. Often you will see them at Costco buying it by the case since it’s a bit cheaper to buy it in bulk. Recently, I was fortunate enough to be invited on a press trip to Karisma Generations in Riveria Maya to experience the hotel and all of the amenities they offer their guests.
Guess what I found upon my arrival to the resort?! Since Karisma Generations is an all-inclusive resort… I had unlimited Mexican Coke! During my trip, I was often found snapping photos of my Mexican Coke enjoying the resort and posting it to my Facebook for my daughter to enjoy (okay, she’s still not happy with me!).
Below is my photo tour of the resort thanks to my awesome models – cans of Mexican Coke!
Upon my arrival at my luxurious room with a balcony and swim up swimming pool, I soon discovered that I had unlimited access to Mexican Coke. We got to know each other by hanging out on the balcony while I dipped my toes in my infinity pool.
Breakfast is served in the Chef Market each day offering a huge breakfast buffet. This cheesy girl enjoyed the varieties offered and found that my cheese and bread paired nicely with… Mexican Coke!

During the day we found ourselves relaxing in one of the multiple cabana options. It was great to hang on the beach or in the palm tree shaded cabanas. I called this my second office since the internet reached all the way down to the beach. (Hey, I was there to work… not play!)
Karisma Generations goes over and above to make sure the kids are taken care of and these kid-size lounge chairs were perfect for my Mexican Coke to hang out by the kid’s pool.
Generations have a great Little EKO Kids program for the kids to play and learn while parents enjoy some private beach time or a culinary experience. When they are not enjoying Little EKO Kids, Generations has put a lot thought into how the kids will enjoy the resort with the little touches like the above lounge chair.

After a long day of touring the property and all Karisma Generations offers their guests, it was great to chillax poolside for a few minutes before joining our group for one of the amazing dinners they offer. The pool spans the entire width of the resort with different areas to enjoy (we preferred to hang at the swim up bar area.)
My Mexican Coke was feeling a little stressed about being my supermodel during the trip so I allowed it to enjoy a soothing massage at the on-site spa. The ultimate pampering… nothing was too good for my Mexican Coke.

After our eco tour through the jungle, my Mexican Coke thought jumping in the cenote would be a great way to cool down after our horseback riding trip. During our tour we saw where the resort grows their herbs and vegetables to serve for guests, their huge compost pile where they place all the clippings from the resort grounds, and other eco friendly efforts they are doing. (Oh, and some really cool wild life too – Mexican Coke hid in my pocket at the end when the Spider Monkeys came out to play in the treetops.)
Still feeling like I needed a bit more in my system before leaving Mexico, I stopped in for lunch at Bubba Gump in the airport for one last can of “true” Mexican Coke.
Do you think I tortured my daughter enough? (Maybe I need to go back!)
